The Role
Black Semiconductor is looking for a highly skilled Senior Equipment Engineer – Lithography (f/m/d) specializing in lithography scanner and track equipment to join our semiconductor FAB team in Aachen, Germany. This role is critical to the successful installation, maintenance, and optimization of lithography cluster equipment, directly influencing our manufacturing efficiency and product quality

The ideal candidate will play a key role in strengthening the lithography cluster capabilities and will contribute directly to the performance and success of our semiconductor manufacturing operations

  • Execute and support the equipment installation and process qualification activities for the Lithography area
  • Work with suppliers and internal Black Semiconductor stakeholders to develop maintenance plans
  • Collaborate with the technical engineering teams to drive equipment and process improvements
  • Mentor technical engineering team members and train less-experienced personnel on lithography tools and best practices
  • Develop and implement Continuous Improvement (CIP) plans focused on improving OEE
Your Qualifications
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with 200mm and/or 300mm lithography equipment, including scanners/steppers (ASML, Nikon, Canon) and litho tracks (DNS and/or TEL)
  • Experience with installation, start-up, qualification, and operation of lithography systems
  • Practical expertise with ASML scanners, Cymer lasers, and TEL tracks (ACT8, ACT12, or more advanced platforms)
  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining sub-fab and support systems where applicable (e.g., laser subsystems, chilled water, vacuum systems)
  • Strong motivation to lead CIP initiatives using 5S and/or other Lean manufacturing methods
  • Experience applying EFMEA (Equipment FMEA) and building equipment-centric process maps
  • A hands-on, proactive mindset suited to a fast-paced pilot-line environment
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in English
