The Role
We're actively seeking a Chief of Staff (f/m/d) to join our Engineering team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in managing engineering projects and driving strategic initiatives
In this role you'll play a key role in co-ordinating roadmap delivery, driving organisational development, and guiding the strategic direction of the Tech department. You act as a trusted partner to the CTO, supporting decision-making and execution while enhancing leadership capacity. This position is ideal for an experienced engineering professional with a passion for deep tech and a proven track record in startup environments
Your Qualifications
- An academic background in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with a solid understanding of deep tech and its applications in the semiconductor industry
- Extensive experience in project management, ideally within a technology-focused startup, with a proven track record of managing complex projects from conception to execution
- Strong grasp of the challenges and opportunities within deep tech, particularly in scaling technology for industrial applications
- Experience working in fast-paced startup environments, demonstrating adaptability and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience in driving innovation and developing market-ready technological solutions
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience in the deep-tech industry, particularly in identifying and securing public funding opportunities
- Collaboration with universities to integrate cutting-edge knowledge into technical teams
- Expertise in R&D processes and patent portfolio management
- Ability to synthesise and communicate scientific value effectively
